HyenaCamper is a new group of overland products. This product group will include aluminium pop up roof tents, aluminium canopy camper, aluminium camper, flat bed tray / canopy camper, aluminium canopies for various car models. The products are designed and built by Hyena Overland. This range of products is made from aluminium in a monocoque system.
Hyena Canopy Camper
Hyena Canopy Camper is a lightweight motorhome construction made of 3mm aluminium. It is intended for 4x4 pickup trucks. The pop-up roof opens a sleeping place for 2 adults, and the lifted bed creates a space where we can live while camping. A built-in shower cubicle for two people gives extra privacy space when showering or changing clothes, for example. The canopy camper gives a lot of possibilities for the individual arrangement of the interior and the addition of many external and internal accessories.

Hyena Canopy Camper is built in an aluminium monocoque system. Each element is designed in 3D CAD programs and is part of the spatial structure, creating a coherent whole. This increases its endurance and lowers the total weight.
The main approach in designing the Hyena Canopy Camper was to find the best compromise between the optimal use of motorhome opportunities, with the least possible impact on the off-road ability of the car, its mobility and what automatically equals safety while driving. That is why we have carefully designed the overall dimensions of the Canopy Camper. The external shape does not extend beyond the car's side contour, which minimizes the probability of its damage, and gives greater confidence in driving in difficult terrain. At the same time, this design minimizes frontal air resistance while driving, which significantly affects the economy of the car and its range. The roof of the body is designed so that it protrudes as little as possible beyond the roof of the car. This has a direct impact on the center of gravity and overall dimensions of the car. These treatments, as well as many others, cause the car, in conjunction with the Hyena Canopy Camper, to lose as little off-road capabilities as possible and, at the same time, to increase safety in difficult off-road conditions while driving.

The bedroom, which is a tent part, is one of the most important spaces during remote camping. In Hyena Canopy Camper, the large opening angle of the tent roof creates a real space in the tent. It increases the usable surface and improves its functionality. At the same time, it reduces the effect of claustrophobia and low-slung roof overhead. A tent made of a very high-quality material is built into the tent part. It has two side windows and a central entrance with a roof. Inside the tent there are: aluminium internal compartments and a control panel (with the possibility of individual specification), black roof lining, thermal insulation of the roof (prevents the tent from overheating during high temperatures. Two man bed base is a lift-up type (it can be divided into two parts) which comes with a mattress.
As standard, the tent part is equipped with a built-in Hyena shower cubicle. Mounted on aluminium arms built into the side part of the tent, it creates a cabin with dimensions of 146 x 96 cm when opened (it can accommodate two people). The cabin is characterized by quick folding and unfolding, and due to the fact that the arm system of the shower cabin is better integrated into the tent part, it is better protected and more compact. As standard, in the outer rear part of the tent, there is an external aluminium step with a built-in lighting system. You can add the Hyena camping table (aluminium and steel) to the tent part. It is compactly mounted, does not take up space and is very easy to unpack.
The lower part of the Hyena Canopy Camper is equipped with two side gullwing windows. The rear part is equipped with an entrance door that opens upwards. Gullwing windows can be equipped with inner boxes. Thanks to them, you can create additional storage space (e.g. kitchen equipment). A shower control panel with a shower handle can be built into the gullwing window walls. The rear part of the Hyena Canopy Camper can be fitted with a spare wheel arm or other additional accessories, e.g. a water / fuel canister mounting.
